A good start for the markets today with both Indices trading with 1.5% gains in first few hours of trading today. Zee Entertainment Enterprises (5.7%), HDFC Bank (4.3%), Reliance Industries (4.0%), Hero MotoCorp (2.9%), Housing Development Finance Corporation (2.7%), Maruti Suzuki India (2.6%), Vedanta (2.1%) and ICICI Bank (2.0%) are trading with strong gains with more than 2%. Stocks like Tech Mahindra (-2.8%), HCL Technologies (-2.5%), IndusInd Bank (-1.7%), Infosys (-1.4%), Tata Steel (-1.1%) and UltraTech Cement (-1.0%) are in negative territory with more than 1% loss.
In the buy vs sell bids not much stocks are in the buy side. Stocks like Bajaj Auto (17%), Bajaj Finance (17%), UltraTech Cement (14%), Power Grid Corporation of India (14%), Maruti Suzuki India (10%) and Eicher Motors (10%) are attracting more than 10% buyers compared to sellers. But in the seller side so many stocks are with more than 30% sell orders compared to buy orders like HDFC Bank (-77%), Reliance Industries (-61%), State Bank of India (-56%), Axis Bank (-52%), Kotak Mahindra Bank (-52%), Housing Development Finance Corporation (-51%), ICICI Bank (-49%) and Tata Consultancy Services (-39%).
In the Volume Gainers chart only two stocks managed to reach the positive side : HDFC Bank (9.9%) and Zee Entertainment Enterprises (1.0%). Tata Motors (-22.8%), Dr. Reddys Laboratories (-32.1%), Reliance Industries (-33.6%), Hero MotoCorp (-34.5%), HCL Technologies (-43.1%), NTPC (-43.8%), UPL (-45.4%) also trading with more volumes compared to other Nifty 50 stocks.
Many stocks recovered smartly from their respective intra day low like Zee Entertainment Enterprises (5.2%), Reliance Industries (4.4%), HDFC Bank (4.2%), Bajaj Finance (2.9%), Hero MotoCorp (2.6%), Housing Development Finance Corporation (2.5%), Vedanta (2.4%), Maruti Suzuki India (2.3%) and IndusInd Bank (2.3%).
Many stocks dropped also from their respective day’s high like Tech Mahindra (-3.4%), HCL Technologies (-3.3%), Infosys (-2.9%), IndusInd Bank (-2.7%), Tata Steel (-2.4%), Tata Motors (-2.0%), Hindalco Industries (-1.9%) etc.
