Karan Bilimoria
Karan Bilimoria is an Indian-born British businessman and the founder of Cobra Beer, a global beer brand. He was born on November 26, 1961, in Hyderabad, India.
Bilimoria moved to the UK in 1981 to study law at the University of Cambridge. In 1989, he founded Cobra Beer, which quickly gained popularity in the UK and other countries. The brand is known for its smooth taste and distinctive branding, and is now sold in over 40 countries worldwide.
In addition to his business ventures, Bilimoria is also involved in various philanthropic activities. He is a member of several boards and councils, including the UK-India Business Council and the Confederation of British Industry.

In 2006, he was chosen as a cross-bench life peer with the title Baron Bilimoria, of Chelsea in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea by the House of Lords Appointments Commission, becoming the first-ever Parsi in the House of Lords.
In 2008 he was awarded the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman by the President of India.
