Gujarat Agricultural University (GAU) is a state agricultural university located in Gujarat, India. It was established in 1972 and is the second-largest agricultural university in India. History:
Gujarat Agricultural University was established in 1972 with the aim of providing education and research in agriculture and allied sciences. It was formed by the amalgamation of the erstwhile Gujarat Agricultural University (GAU), Anand, and the erstwhile Gujarat Veterinary College (GVC), Navsari. Today, GAU has four campuses across the state of Gujarat.
