G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology (GCET) is a private engineering college located in Vallabh Vidyanagar, Anand, Gujarat, India. It was established in 1996 and is affiliated with the Gujarat Technological University.
The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. The college also offers doctoral programs in engineering and technology.
GCET has a strong focus on research and innovation and has established several research centers in areas such as renewable energy, nanotechnology, biotechnology, and applied sciences. The college also has collaborations with several industries and organizations to provide students with practical exposure and hands-on experience.
The campus of GCET is spread over 40 acres and is equipped with modern infrastructure facilities such as well-equipped laboratories, libraries, sports facilities, auditoriums, and hostels. G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology started functioning in academic year 1996-1997 by offering two four-year Bachelor of Engineering Degree programmes namely Chemical Engineering and Information Technology.
Currently the college has eight disciplines at graduate level and nine at PG level. The postgraduate program in communication, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering & Mechatronics, Power Systems & Embedded Systems, Chemical Engineering and Computer Engineering.
